Christina Vaughn-Chesterman is a Masters Level Counselor under supervision for licensure in the state of Georgia. With two Master’s degrees and significant professional and personal experience, Christina brings an outstanding array of skills to her clients. She holds a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health from LaGrange College and a Master’s of Arts in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University. Although skilled in treating diverse areas, Christina especially enjoys working with teens and adults in crisis and families in transitional periods. In addition to being a therapist, she is a wife and mother to 4 children, two of whom are on the Autism spectrum. She embraces new adventures and enjoys music, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Christina’s philosophy - “I value people. I believe everyone wants to be seen and heard. When people feel secure, it paves a way for positive growth and change. As a Person-Centered therapist, the client is the catalyst for change, thus allowing true change to take place. In addition to being Person-Centered, I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This approach allows a person to assess their emotions, behaviors and thoughts, “lean into their emotions” and achieve positive changes within themselves. I count it a privilege to walk alongside people in their highs and in their lows. I want people to always know that they are seen and do not have to walk alone.”
